I registered with Feature Price, who then passed it to dotregistrar. I have never been able to get a hold of them (dotregistrar) to be able to login and change nameservers manually.
that's a bad sign. transfer your domain to a registrar that allows you to control your domain. i keep seeing situations such as yours where people who bought their domains through the same company that's going to host them and have a ton of trouble when trying to go somewhere else for hosting due to bad service. i shudder when people want one company to handle domains and hosting service. you're better off keeping them separate.
when i wanted to manage a site of my own, i purposely got a domain first, then i went and got a hosting service. i totally lucked out going with the other hosting company as my domain's registrar and lunarpages as my hosting service. both have been great.
