Do you  allow existing domains to be transfered to  Lunarpages, and how much is it?

Also, do you have a multi-domain hosting plan?

Thanks! Grr..!!

Yes we do. There is a one-time fee of $12.95 at the time of this post and a yearly renewal fee of $19.95. You will have to pay for a one year renewal at the time it is transferred and a year will be added to the current registration. Our Basic, Business, Windows, VPS, and Dedicated plans can all host multiple domains. Please see http://lunarpages.com

Transferring a domain to Lunarpages costs $12.95. From there, you will need to pick one of two options:

        1. Get the First Year of Domain Registration for Free - If you have not used the free one year domain registration that came with your account, you can do so in this situation. A one-time transfer fee of $12.95 still applies even when you are using your one year for free domain name registration. Free domain must be redeemed within 30 days of signup.

        2. Don't Use Your Free Year of Domain Registration - If you are not using the domain name you transferring (or you no longer have that option available to you) you will be charged $32.90 to cover both the cost of the domain name transfer ($12.95) and the first year's registration ($19.95)

Private Registration: Want to hide your contact information from coming up in the Whois database? Check this article for more information on how to add anonymous registration to your domains.

HOW does one go about requesting a domain transfer? All I see is an option to purchase a new domain (which doesn't offer me a transfer option when I enter a domain that I already have registered somewhere else--although it *should*--that would be a user-friendly way to do it--but oh well). Thanks very much.

This may be a spam post just to get your spam link in your signature, but it case it isn't...

Who are "they"? Do you own the company in question, or otherwise have authorization to use the name? Are the same people (they/them) who sold you the domain name (LP? another registrar?) telling you that you can't use it? Did they give a specific reason? You're going to have to give a lot more information here...
