I have a client who would like to move his site from the university server to a comercial host (I recomended LunarPages). He would like to keep his .edu domain name, if possible.

I know you can't register .edu names with LunarPages, but can you transfer them? I know there are some special rules about .edu domains, but I don't know what they all are.

Hi,

Lunarpages cannot be your registrar.

However, you can use your .edu domain by keeping it registered with the same company, and using the lunarpages nameservers.
