Hello,

If your budget allows you then the best plan would be a Dedicated server. You may review more information about pricing and hardware at http://www.lpdedicated.com

No one can give you an answer because you haven't said anything about how much load your site is going to impose on a server. What's it going to be doing, how much data, and how many users at once? A small site, even with a database, will run nicely on a shared server plan, but something bigger will require a VPS, and bigger than that, a dedicated server.

A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to make their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own or lease for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation or Housing as it is commonly called in Latin America or France.

Tom,

You shouldn't have quoted that post, at least not without removing the spam link... it was just spam with a nonsense question wrapped around it. There was insufficient information in the question to give any answer -- it was just an excuse to link to a commercial site. Also please put your reponse after the [/quote], not within the quote.

Honestly, it depends on what you are trying to do. If you are just going for something small scale then you don't NEED a dedicated server, and can always move to one later. Don't waste money unless you know it's going to grow fast and don't want to deal with the other issues, or if you want to maximize speed by not having anything shared. I would suggest the VPS to begin, and migrate to dedicated later on down the road when you have enough traffic coming to warrant having such a bill.

It completely depends upon your budget. For dedicated you need to pay more, and if you cannot afford that then you can use the other one
