What can you offer to avoid, circumvent, or fix situations with a foriegn isp's block ip addresses of website such as our - pc to phone communications - www.netphone2.com.

Can we change ip addresses if this were to occur?  What do you suggest...

We can change ip addresses, yes. But that would be in a very extreme situation.

Not my ISP, there are several countries in the world where they claimed to have related to terrorism, malaysia is one of them, so some internet web site like the other hosting companys.com (a domain registrar) block access to users from these countries. Funny isn't it. I know this from another forum dicussion when someone encounter the similar problem.

So, when the goverment and terroist are fighting, it end up that we the citizens are in troble. It is quite ridiculous to heard that a site terminate access to certain users from certain countries.

WTF ! This is a huge outrage ! Could you explain this a little furthur for me ? If I were to use the other hosting company's as my domain registrar, will it affect my (example) Malaysian friend's access to my website in Lunarpages ? I'm assuming Lunarpages doesn't do this kind of stupid dumbass act of hostility, right ? :/// Any other recommendations for a good domain name registrar ?

Copied from the other hosting company's FAQs itself. Why is it that my friend from Malaysia can't access the site ? I know this is Lunarpages' forum, but I'm just hoping I could get answers here as well.  "[Smile]"

Go Daddy actively blocks the following countries from using our services:
Cuba
Iran
Iraq
Libya
North Korea
Sudan
Syria
The U.S. Department of State has declared the governments of these states to be sponsors of international terrorism. For more information on the activities of these governments please visit the site below:

Lunarpages doesn't block any countries.

I don't know anything about the other hosting company, sorry.
