I'm still dubbing if I need a standard hosting plan or a VPS  . My site recieves around 12k uniques per day and uses around 100gb bandwith per month. Any suggestions? |

You would want to try downloading each file, then your browser should tell you the speeds at which the files are being downloaded.

I averaged around 130 KB/s on an 8mb connection. Considering I can sustain 1,024 KB/s, this seem pretty slow.
