When the plans state that to receive them at eg $9.95 a month, a plan purchase for 24 months is required. Does this mean I have to pay for all 24 months up front or I am locked in a contract for 24 months?

Unless something has changed recently, you can get your money back for up to 30 days. After that, you can walk away, but you lose the money. So yes, it is a contract, but you are not required to use LP's services.

Right, the 30 day money back guarantee is still in place if you find yourself unhappy with your hosting setup, however lets hope it never has to be used.  hug me

Please feel free to ask away if you have any other hosting questions, we would be happy to help!
