We can host more than .com, .org and .net.

But to get a .nl domain name you have get that domain name first from a 3rd party.

I shouldn't really recommend any particular company, they all have similar services.

You could try here http://www.domain-registry.nl/sidn/flat/Home/

I found it by searching google.com

I don't know if that company is good or bad, I haven't ever seen them before, but I thought I'd give you the link anyway.

Once your domain is registered, you just need to ask the company you registered it with to make your domain use the lunarpages nameservers.

Further instructions can be found here - http://www.lunarpages.com/faq/changedomain.html

I found a host which allows me to register the domain and redirect the dns to those of Lunarpages.
But doesn't that give me a slower connection to the site ?

If someone enters my URL, they connect to the dns servers of Mihosnet (where i would register the .nl domain), which then tells them to connect to the dns servers of Lunarpages, which then tell's them where to find the website ?

What you want is a domain registration company that lets you use the lunarpages nameservers instead of their own ones.

What you mentioned about dns servers redirecting to each other doesn't happen.

The DNS servers all pool the DNS settings into one master list which gets sent out to several main DNS server which host the DNS for all the web. It doesn't matter who you get your domain from as it will end up in the same place either way!

Thanx everyone

Just need to wait for a week-day to confirm the hosting and fax the domain registration form and we're up and running.
