Hello...

I'm seriously considering signing up for Lunarpages.  The hosting looks to be a good deal. The services include much that I desire, and the community on these forums appear to be very helpful, kind, and civil.  It's kind of scary.

At any rate.. after looking around, I found that not many people here use Python for their sites.  I however find that language particularly cuddly and I'm hesitant to move on to something else, especially seeing as I use it for pretty much all of my coding ( which is at the artist level of "ooh.. look I can print out the fibonacci sequence over the internet!").

I'd like to know what version of Python resides on your servers and whether or not I can install such things as Webware for python, Skunkweb, or Zope.  I've only ever played around on servers I have full access to so I'm not sure what sort of software I can use or install on Lunarpages' servers.

Any Information you can supply about this stuff would be most gratefully appreciated.

According to the lunarpages.com site:  "PHP, PYTHON & PERL" are some of the languages offered. So yes, you can host your python script.

As for the version of pyhthon installed, give support@lunarpages.com an email, they can give you an official response about the version.
