Hi i have numerious domains with lunarpages and the one im building now i want to use some video conferecing and it  tells me that i need to have a RTMP Flash Media server hosting plan...   can i get that from lunarpages alacarte, i dont need a dedicated server, i just need the RTMP support, can i get that all by itself because i will need to link that as part of the video conf process... thanks

update i guess there is such a thing as a Shared FMIS RTMP Hosting Plan that might be cheaper, but i dont know if lunar pages has that offering..

You would most likely need to go up to VPS or dedicated to get that type of specialized server side service added.  I would recommend contacting sales@lunarpages.com with your needs and they'll get back to you with the hosting quote that would best suit your needs.

thanks mitch, i did find a service that would host the flash media end of it and then combine it with my information on the lp server side to give the customer what they want, and it starts at 19 bucks a month, much better than 99 bucks a month for a ded server at lp.   I would think that lp prob gets a huge volume of requestes for media server and i would think they would incorporate such a plan into their offerings.. Even if their profit is not huge on the this offer they would get huge numbers of customers setting up their domans with them if they offered an alacart plan for us all...  Thanks for the input, i may go with the other company just for the media end of it and use their technology to work with my site on lp.   I would however prefer to have everything on lp, if lp does infact read these forums...
