I recently purchased a domain name under another company, is it true that I have to wait 60 days if I would like to transfer to lunarpages to begin hosting my website?

you don't have to transfer the domain name to lunarpages to have lunarpages host your site.  lunarpages can still host your site.  all you have to do, after purchasing a hosting account, is change the name servers of your domain name at the company that your domain name is registered with. Cool

Depending what you signed with the last company, they may keep your domain for 60 days, I don't know.

There are no such limits on lunarpages.

I believe you are not allowed to transfer registrars for the first 60 days that you own your domain.  But you can modify nameservers whenever you like.  To have your domain hosted at Lunar, you only need modify your nameservers to Lunar's nameservers.
