I tried yesterday morning and just a few minutes ago, and I can't open a hosting acct from the LP website.  I probably could if I really tried, but the page is not displaying properly and I can't really read the page.  I sent an email to LP support (from my existing acct) and was told to call an 877 number and I just tried the IM thing, and was told the same thing. What's going on?

Hi Mxgirl

Not sure what you mean from here.
I can see and get to lunarpages.com ok ( tho its now http://www.lpwebhosting.com/  )
And can get to and see clearly http://www.dirtbikes101.com which if memory serves is your site !!
And can log into my account from sign in page on LP's main login page ( on the main page ) !!

Hey Pete -
Thanks for replying. Yes I also get those two pages, but when I click on 'Basic Hostig' tab and start going through the purchasing process, a few pages later it brings me to this page:

https://secure.lunarpages.com/signup/order:basic

Here's a screenshot:  That's the most readble part thanks to the white space.  it goes downhill from there. I'm using IE, but I would think a company like LP would check for browser compatibility (even I know to do that) Yes, dirtbikes101 is my existing site, but I want to create another - and I'd like it to be hosted on LP.   Confused

Oops - forgot to say thank you again for your help. Thumbs Up  Thumbs Up

Hi Mxgirl,

Thank you for posting that screenshot. I have forwarded this information to our developers who should be looking into it and making any necessary changes.

Thanks for forwarding the info.  Hopefully they'll either fix that page, or create a new sign up page.  I was able to purchase the domain names without a problem, but not the hosting plan.

I figured out (sort of) why the page wouldn't display - it had something to do with the anti-virus/security/firewall settings.  I haven't purchased the hosting acct, but at least the page displays ok.

Hi Mxgirl. So which one caused this? Is it the security software or the firewall?
