Hi all,
I'm considering a reseller account.  However, isnic, the domain name registry in iceland where most of my clients would be coming from have the following rules for "acceptable" DNS servers (see below).  I was wondering if the dns server setup of the reseller account fulfills these.  I know that the name servers for lunarpages.com are acceptable, just wondering if the DNS server for the whatever_resllerhosting.com name that is used for the reseller account will satisfy these rules as well.

Rules for isnic.is acceptable DNS servers:
1. Nameservers must allow connection to UDP port 53, and to TCP port 53 as well. Nameserver must allow zone transfer of .IS domains to network 193.4.58.0/24.
2. Nameserver must be consistently registered in DNS, i.e. its own A resource record must be available and a corresponding PTR resource record as well.
3. Namesever name can only contain ascii letters, digits, hyphen and periods.

thanks,
Siggi

siggismara, thanks for your interest in our hosting and welcome to Lunarforums !

I checked into this and I see that we have had tld's from Iceland get setup here before with no issues.

I hope this helps,
