Hello All,

I have few simple questions, for many experts in LP should be very easy to answer.
Please clear my doubts. These all my understanding from reading all thread related to Reseller plan, please correct me if i am wrong.

Assume i am going for 1 year prepaid plan.

1.  I am planning to provide web hosting and web development for many small clients(some static pages, and some PHP with mysql, none of them are big in size). this reseller plan will be suitable for me ?

2.  First three domain hosting is free(no hidden charges) and i can use them at any time ?

3.  the storage 1000Mb and 100Gb bandwidth is common for all my clients or for any client i am going sell, i.e each client will get storage 1000Mb and 100Gb bandwidth ? (Important doubt)

4. Can i see any modified or LP reseller's control ? Just i am curious to know how the CP will look like for my company ?

5. Can i give separte FTP accounts to all my clients ?

6. What kind of problem i will be facing for E-com sites. Suppose one of my client wants to use Commerce site ?

7. One Scenario: is it correct ?
    I am selling a my XYZ web hosting plan to my client 10$. This amount will be collected by me.
    I will pay 5$ (my 11th domain hosting) to LP.

8. Compared to other category in this LP forum, this reseller category has many un-happy threads, does it mean very often problem comes in reseller plan or support is not enough....just i am thinking...?  (I am sorry abt this, just i felt like asking...) Smile

Let me try and answer your questions:

1. Yes these would work fine on reseller.

2. Resellers get up to 3 free domains. If you purchase a reseller account at full price, you get a free domain. After this, additional domains are $7.95 per domain.

3. Yes every plan you sell on your reseller plan will have the storage 1000Mb and 100Gb bandwidth. This can not be changed.

4. It would look the similar to our CP demo except Lunarpages Webbuilder is not provided and no Addon domains would be allowed. You can upload files to brand the Cpanel to your own company. Our name would not show.

5. Each reseller account has its own cpanel, FTP, etc.

6. Ecommerce sites should work ok on your clients plans long as they fit within the storage and bandwidth limits.

7. Yes that is correct, the 11th and up account is $5 per month and you charge whatever you wish.

8. I dont see that many issues with our reseller plans. We offer the same high level of support to our resellers as we do any of our other plans. You must keep in mind that only the people who are having issues will be the ones posting in the forums. The ones that have no issues dont have a need to post here Wink

Thanks a lot for your help. Your answer was very good.
(I am a core protocol engineer, i am just new to web....  thats so many qns. .Smile)
and few more doubts...

1. My client can not create subdomains, rite ?

2. when i charge my client online, what are the other expenses could be there ?
    Like, i have to pay for Dedicated IP, any SSL certificate, or what else could be there ?
    or link will be helpful.

3. will there be any other charges ?

4. Do i have to buy anything like WHM ?

Hello:

1. Your clients wouldn't have the ability to create sub-domains.

2. Some additional fees/services that could be added to each client account could be one or more of the following:
JSP
ASP
SSL Certificates + Setup
Dedicated IP
Domain name registration
Domain name anonymous registration

Other than the above features a setup fee may be charged if you select the 3 month or 6 month payment terms.

WHM comes free with the reseller plan.
