Will Ruby work with an Intel MacPro? I would assume so, yes?

I'm not sure I understand the question, ruby runs server-side and rails is the framework most people use to have pages in a browser. If your server is using Ruby and you coded applications in Rails, then it will display on any computer in a browser, since the code runs server-side not browser side.

If you aren't talking about the browser and you do actually mean coding applications locally on a Mac, then yes Ruby will run on a Mac and it is already included on a Mac for OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard.
