Is Google's Webmaster Tools the best source to confirm what pages are crawled by Google [along with what pages are NOT and why] and how often the site is crawled?

Are there other tools you've found more reliable?

Thanks!

It is the only one I use for the time being.  Since it is from Google, I know if it says I was crawled I can trust it.  For Yahoo, you might look into their lesser known Webmaster Tools:
