My blog is getting spammed like crazy. Should I turn off comments? I believe comments can be good for refreshing the content on your pages. But, seriously, is it worth all this spam I'm getting?

Well, no need to remove comment option do one thing that display comments on blog which approved by you, so now comments which are approved by you will display on the blog

Many users comments on the blog, but you don't approve all comment, if approve the comment, it will show in the post.

Spend some time and approve only those comments which are useful for your blog.

Yeah good suggestion by bryanbell you have to give sometime to your blog and approve comments than it would certainly very much helpful to your blog

Blog Comment is necessary for the gain the good traffic at your website.It is really necessary for the search engine.

never close your comments box but use moderation for comments. search engine index comments as a separate pages
