I was in BAMM last night and saw a book I hadn't seen before called "Google Hacks".  I didn't buy it (yet), but had a chance to read through it and saw some cool tips and hacks.

I'll probably get it soon, and let you know what cool things it has in it.  If anyone else gets it first, let us know!

Never heard of it. If you get it, please post some nice hacks here. Can't hurt to give them a try, and if they would hurt your rankings than they wouldn't be in a book that's for sale in store, right?

I've had the book a few weeks now.  It mainly consists of cool things you can do whilst searching Google.  It does however have a nice section on optimising for Google and how to do well on Adwords.

Here's the book you were referring too, it's an Oreilly book, which makes it all the better...
http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/googlehks/

There's also a Pocket Guide coming out soon, it can be found at..

Hope this helps some, I have read through the Google Hacks book, it seems really good, our university has some sort of deal with Oreilly, we get quite a few of the books on a subscription basis. Smile

cheers,
nick
