I am concerned that if I host my co.uk site in the US rather than the UK, it might be excluded from Google "Pages from the UK" searches.

I have emailed google about this and await a reply, but to be absolutely sure, can any Brits here confirm that their .co.uk site _is_ visible on Google "Pages from the UK" ?

My site hasn't yet worked up the google rankings, so it is difficult for me to say.  However, on a www.google.co.uk 'Pages from the UK' search, my website address is found in a search (interestingly it is the .com address that comes up because I have yet to submit my .co.uk site).

Google Support just emailed me regarding Google "Pages from the UK", stating:

"If the site has a domain of .co.uk, it will be included no matter where it is hosted. Sites hosted in the UK, no matter what their domain, will also be included."
