Hi! i wonder if its better to put your keywords in your categories. I'm selling baskets so when i created categories the category name is baskets but for SEO is it better to use the word Philippine Baskets as its also one of my keyword? Thanks!

This may be very useful if you rank poor but it is hard for your users because a Baskets category sounds better than Philippine baskets, especially if you sell only things from Philippine. (is that a city/country?)

It might help a little but there's more you can do with the content as well as meta tags, titles, and off site SEO.

If you are optimizing  a portal site than it is not possible that doing link building for thousand of pages....so, you can optimize only categories page and keywords on category it is a good idea.
