Hi, I submit my site as <a href="http://baybaby.net"> http://baybaby.net</a> in May and I saw google has visited my site about a week ago. I can not find my site in google now. If I make any changes to the keywords, or page content, do I need to submit to google again for a better ranking?
How ofter google will update the sites it has visited?

The Google spider Updates once a month, on the 10th is my memory serves me correctly, which is today! or tommorrow for others. It can take upwards of the entire month to get to everyones websites.

As for changing keywords id like to know the answer to this question also.
Google visiting your site in the logs could just mean that the spider has followed a link to a specific page on your site, and not visited it from the info in their database. The way to a better google rating is by putting links to your site EVERYWHERE! Very Happy

To improve your listing, you should try to improve your content and usability so that you get more link-to's. As your site becomes more "important" (as measured by how many other sites, particularly other "important" sites, link to you), your listing will improve. This does not require re-submission.

It doesn't necesserally mean that you will be listed if Google visits your website, even though the chances of them not listing you is very low after visiting your site. It does take them some time to list your site and rank it correctly among your competition.

Visit http://www.index.lunarpages.com and list your site there if you need links to your site. It could be a good start for you. Smile
