Whenever I search for something on Google, a window pops up from Seekseek.com that displays Seekseek's search results for what I searched for. Does this happen to everyone else--is this something Google is doing-- or is it spyware or something on my computer?
I've run several spyware deleting programs like Spybot, but they haven't found anything.

The last time that happened to me someone's crooked code had rewritten all my registry settings for Internet Explorer and nothing I did would fix it. Ended up I had to do a complete reinstall to get my system back right:( Whatever it was that did it never tripped anti-virus prog or spy-ware prog. I now use GoBack and have saved my computer numerous times since:)

My IE is a bit messed up... There's a new Search toolbar that I did not put on there-- if I enter a query on it, it takes me to:

http://search.startium.com/_1_TOCT2N02F3BNPP__star.srtium/dog/results?otmpl=dog/webresults.htm&qcat=web&qkw=search%20term%20here&top=1&start=&ver=15930

There were several other toolbars on here, but Spybot Search & Destroy disposed of them.

I had the same thing but now that I have an ad blocker I don't get that crap any longer. Wink

Or AdsGone... it's free to try but costs to use afterwards. It's worth it though and works perfectly against all kinds of mess on the web these days. Very Happy
