Hello,

There are very few laws that specifically address internet law but there have been a few significant precedent legal cases that have attempted to define acceptable use in the internet space.

That post (and link) are more than 11 years old. You may have to do some searching around to find the new address, if it's been moved. Let us know if you find it.

Seo stands for search engine optimization,It is a lawfull activity when someone use white hat seo. This is legal technique and is used all over the world. But if people use black hat seo then it will be illegal technique.

There is nothing about "black hat" SEO per se that is illegal in the sense that it will get you hauled into court. However, it does annoy Google and other search engines, and they will punish you by giving you poor search results (buried back in page 243,477). Trademark infringement (keyword hijacking) and causing damage to the reputation or business of others might be a side effect that could result in a visit from their lawyer.
