Hi All,
Everybody has their own way to get the traffic and market/advertise their site. I would like to know the traffic tactics which you guys normally use.
Mine are:
1.) email marketing
2.) forums
3.) blog comments
4.) JVing

Yes whichever you had describe are used in a very massive way. I think there are many other like article submissions, bookmarking, in SEM there are PPC, CPC. CPA, and many more which are used. These are the way from which we are able to get good traffic but in all keyword always play an important role.

For getting more traffic do article submission, social bookmarking, press release, blog commenting, directory submission. It will be useful for getting more traffic. Just use do follow directories.

I think do social media optimization with micro blogging site like Twitter, Facebook, My space, StumbleUpon and All Other Social media web sites with Good generate traffic for your web sites. And also local directory promotion will help to get more traffic for your Web Sites.

Nice post! SMO sites( Social Media Optimization) like Twitter, Face book, digg, delicious, Blog creation, Posting & Comments, Forum, Press Release, Classified ads, Yahoo answers, video sharing sites etc.

The best traffic tactics for me and easily get backlinks are social bookmarking, article submission, press release, forum signature, blog commenting and link exchange.

It will need sometime to build up your web traffic. I am doing the same as well. Find out from the link below. It captured various web marketing techniques.
From my experience, forum can get me the most subscriber per day while submitting articles and blogging and social bookmarking get me the most hit for my website / blog page.

Forums and blogs gives me best traffic.Different search engines will have different strategies,so you can work out on social bookmarking sites or article directories, forums , blogs, directory submissions and press releases which will get more traffic but it takes time.
