All of us put our sites on the line when we ask for reviews. Sometimes, we might not like what we hear. I've always believed in this saying, "to each, his/her own". Take everything with a grain of salt.   You may think pink is a hot color for a background but pink makes me puke.  (just an example)

Sometimes, when you have nothing constructive to offer, it's better not to say it at all. We all want our sites to get better, don't we? But we do not want our sites to be called ugly or whatever, not that anyone would do that.  

In addition, I feel that if you wish people to review your site, it would help if you offered reviews of other sites first. Share your expertise and knowledge.   We all have lots to learn.
