Well its not really no big deal but it goes of my screen so I have to move the screen over to see it. The other little thing is how I have to move around inside of the box to read everything. I just like reading everything without having to move up or down left and right. This didnt make much sense so I hope you understand what I mean.... Other then that nice site

Umm firstly, forget my post about you starting a new thread lol.

As mentioned earlier, I liked the colors you used on your site.   The flash buttons are cool too!

In regards to layout, I agree with Sgu. When creating a site, one should always try it on several browser types and resolution to check compatibility. Not many people are inclined to change their resolution settings just because a webmaster tells them to.   With my resolution set to 800x600, I can't see your banner fully.

Sith previously posted this script which might help you in regards to different resolution settings.

<script language="JavaScript1.2">
<!--
window.moveTo(0,0);
if (document.all) {
top.window.resizeTo(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight);
}
else if (document.layers||document.getElementById) {
if (top.window.outerHeight<screen.availHeight||top.window.outerWidth<screen.availWidth){
top.window.outerHeight = screen.availHeight;
top.window.outerWidth = screen.availWidth;
}
}
//-->
</script>

I think once your site is viewable under different resolution settings, it will work nicely!

Use that script between your <head> </head> tags

Btw, shall I delete the other thread since you still have this opened?

I agree with sgu about the box to the left, it's a bit fiddly and hard to see, but I have my res set at 800 x 600 so that's prolly why.

The addition of your icq status is neat, love the news and the BIG message about your wedding.  The blue background is a really calming colour.  Like that a lot.

The flashing "kickme.to" advert is like a lil glitter celebration!

I like how when u run your mouse over the flash buttons, they start trippin'.

Just sex it up a bit I guess.  You know, a few cosmetic tweaks here and there.  That'll come with time and experience.

If you don't have psp or photoshop, I can recommend the Xara graphic proggies.  They are soooo easy to use for a newbie like myself.

Well done matey!

So far I have found Xara 3D to be the easiest.

I'm kinda in the same boat as u.  I have all the tools, but lack in knowledge.

I'm lookin' at doing some courses next year in flash, design etc.  They cost about $400 for 4 lessons at Southbank Tafe, which is a bit rich atm.

I'll get there in time

yes it is costly ,but remember flash dos have the tutor,though basic its a good start.
i go from one prog to another, this helps me in a few ways.
1) i find some things easier in differant progs ,i can then go back to others and do better.
2) some progs i use for one thing
such as photo line , it has a great warping grid.
etc.
also as far as learning this stuff, i find the more i muck around the more i learn, and it sticks, so keep practicing.
Shadow.
ps one piece i did was repair a studio photo of michelle, which was ripped stained etc.
it ended out better than the original, and took heaps of time but taught me a lot.

The site's design is too simple for me... I don't like the background color, the buttons, the fonts, the look basically. You can do better than that. NO offence. Work on the colors, the buttons, the interface, and it can be a much more pleasent site to visit.
If you need ANY help, ask me, i'll help.
