The link in the Neil Armstrong information did not work for me, http://www.thespacerace.com/www.neilarmstronginfo.com, when I typed http://www.neilarmstronginfo.com/ into the address bar the web site worked.

I wish you add lot of content related to space race which is quite inspirational.  Also your forum is disconnected from your wordpress, There are lots of plugins available both in SMF and in Wordpress to bridge this gap. Try using any of them.

Also your forum seems too diversified. I would  have liked it more if it concentrated more on Space and Space race.

The design part is good, looks impressive.
