Nice but I think you could make it look better if you made a image header instead of just html text.

I find the purple a bit overwhelming to a point where it distracts from the site content. The sidebar (or repeating border) uses a lot of space but does not add any real value to the page. The menu has an annoying jump around problem (due the CSS hover property adding a 1 pixel border not otherwise present). As this is primarily an ecommerce site, you need to feature your content (products) not purple butterflys and keep the site very user friendly.

Thanks to  Earl,  Jonasu, and wektech  for your comments about my website.  You've given me a lot to think about.  I appreciate it. I'm sorry, Earl that the site wouldn't load for you.
And Jonasu and wektech,  I'll see what changes can be made.  Thanks again,
Nadine  (moonb7)

Very nice site and layout.  The only thing I can see where you might make an improvement might be the "about" page.  Try to give more information about what your site is about and what you do there.  Make sure you answer who, what, when, where and why there, as that will be the page that people turn to to learn more about you.

Thanks, Mitch.  I'm inclined to agree with you on the 'about' page.  It's always bothered me.  I appreciate you taking the time to visit my site and thanks for your comment.

There was a time when my website * came up in the top 3 search returns for Google. Then we dropped off the charts. Now, we're working our way back. Yesterday * was #8 for the search term "* beaches." My site has the largest database of first person reports on * beaches and * resorts.

* - edited to keep the post family friendly, thanks!
