Sessions - WP plugin wants?
« on: December 05, 2017, 09:51:23 PM »
I have the standard hosting with CP.
In a WordPress installation, I added the plugin "Memphis Documents Library". Yes, I did get some warning/indication that it might not work.
When I try to upload a document, I get the following"
Memphis Error: Memphis Documents Library requires sessions to be enable. Please configure your server to allow for sessions.

Ok, is that something I can enable, that I have to ask the helpdesk for, or is it even available?
Anyone using a document library in WP that they like?

Thanks
Jay

Sessions are normally handled in PHP code, which WP is written in, so I would think the configuration switch to throw would be somewhere in WordPress itself. I don't know why the message mentions "server". Anyway, please research WordPress to see if it has any configuration for sessions. Offhand, I can't think of anything you need to do on the server itself, unless possibly you need to add something to your php.ini file.
