Hi there,

I've never had problems with one of my WP websites before, but recently everytime I try to update a page I get the following error message:

Quote

Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to 68.142.230.175:80 (Connection timed out) in /home/users/public_html/ebookreaders.net/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 1157

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/simont/public_html/mydomain.com/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php:1157) in /home/users/public_html/mydomain.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 770

Can anyone help out at all?

Hello,

Looks like one of your modules/plugins is trying to connect to a yahoo server : 68.142.230.175 (ws01.search.vip.re2.yahoo.com) and for some reason it's failing. The server isn't accepting connections as I can't connect to that specific IP on port 80 from my computer :

Code:
$ telnet 68.142.230.175 80
Trying 68.142.230.175...
telnet: connect to address 68.142.230.175: Connection timed out

Do you have any plugins that need to connect to an yahoo server or hosting ?

The headers already sent error message usually means you have spaces in your PHP code that don't belong there. Search the Wordpress docs & forums for that phrase and you will find plenty of information.
