Hello all,
Did a few searches and couldn't find anything related to "shortcode" in the lp forums at all...strange.
I have a few domains hosted on my primary domain,
http://www.dancavanagh.com:
http://www.dancavanagh.comhttp://www.ajco.orghttp://www.echocomposers.orgI have wordpress installed on all domains, and I have each of the addon domains mapped to a sub-folder of the primary domain, so
www.ajco.org is actually mapped from
www.dancavanagh.com/ajco. The wp installation on the main domain is located at
http://www.dancavanagh.com/live/.
Here's the problem I'm having: wordpress shortcodes work just great on my main domain (
www.dancavanagh.com/live). They do not work at all on
www.ajco.org, and I cannot figure out why. I thought I'd post here because it seems to be a problem with only the installation on the ajco.com domain, and not with blanket wordpress on my domain in general.
If you visit
http://www.ajco.org you will see a post on the first page in which I inserted the shortcode [archives], which according to
http://en.support.wordpress.com/shortcodes/ should just list old posts. Instead, it just prints [archives] rather than parse the shortcode.
It is not the plugins - all plugins are disabled currently.
I thought it may have been the theme I was using, so I have switched to the theme supplied w/ wordpress, Twenty Eleven. Also happens on that theme as well, so it doesn't seem to be a theme issue.
I have the [archives] shortcode on the page
http://www.dancavanagh.com/live/education/ and it works as expected, so it is specific to the ajco.org domain or installation.
Any ideas? I'm a bit stumped. Thanks to anyone who may have some advice.
