I just went through upgrades to version 2.0.15 , one from version 2.0.13 and one from 2.0.11.

The 2.0.13 was a fresh install from Fantastico, I then followed the instructions from the Sticky in this forum for "changed files only" and it all went fine.

I then did the exact same thing for a BB at version 2.0.11, it all SEEMED to go fine but when I try to log into the Admin Panel it just never comes up. The files in the Admin directory are all correct and of course I remembered to delete the "install" and "contrib" directories at the end of the upgrade.

I need to do a "for real" upgrade to a BB (now at version 2.0.12) and I am afraid this will happen again.  Any ideas?

Thanks Pete, but that didn't do it.  I already had the updated code in that file (I tried reversing it just for ha-has but still doesn't do the trick)

you need to upgrade one version at a time, you cant jump straight from 2.0.11 to 2.0.15

is this what your doing?

Not true, the changed files version allows jumps in versions.

Well thankfully my 2.0.12 upgrade went fine (I just decided to "go for it").  Yes I was jumping versions as that is what the zip file names indicate can be done as well as the Sticky note posted here.

The 2.0.11 upgrade in question wasn't important for me, but that doesn't mean it might not be for someone else who may hit the same issue I did........
