My site is built in Joomla, I put a lot of work into learning Joomla and creating the site, and far I really like the environment. But, I have a writer for my site located New Zealand, who cannot access my site at SeaGreenNews.com. It is vitally important that she be able to access and comment on the writings.

•   The New Zealand user has contacted her ISP and they cannot access my site either, even after white listing it.

•   We have been testing different scenarios and the New Zealand user can access some other Joomla sites on Lunarpages.

•   The New Zealand user's friends with different ISP's located in New Zealand can access my site at: SeaGreenNews.com.

•   I have called Lunarpages support for ideas a couple of times, but with no resolve.

•   I and the Lunarpages support person looked at the .htaccess file and found nothing that should be causing this issue.

•   I do not know of others who cannot access my site, but that would be helpful.

Here is the error message that she is getting:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how I can resolve this access issue, please let me know.   Confused

Thanks!

Well, if the IP was blocked for some reason it would time out and not generate that specific error. It could be a DNS propagation issue if the nameservers were recently changed.

Please open a ticket at support@lunarpages.com if you haven't already so we can investigate. Our forums are not for official support. If you have a ticket, please provide the ticket number.

Thank you.

I did not know this was official support. I thought I could gain insight into issues related to other hosting services or International access problems.  It doesn’t seem to be related to Lunarpages hosting and I’ve been told that both times I called the support line. If I’m not sure what opening up a ticket will do, but I’ll try it. If that does not work, I’ll go to another forum for ideas and suggestion.
