Hello All,

I've been with Lunar Pages for a year or so now and have a specific question: I'm looking at installing OpenEMM, it's an open-source email/newsletter package that claims to be enterprise-level. It's quite impressive, the site and documentation seem thorough, but I'm thinking the installation may be a bit over my head. I have installed Adobe Flash Media Server on my server with success, and at that time that seemed daunting as well. I need some advice, I suppose.

This link is to OpenEmm's installation wiki: http://www.openemm.org/wiki/Installation:InstallGuideRHEL

If you're curious, or feeling benevolent, give it a read and let me know what you think. Maybe my brain is just fried and I'm making this a bigger deal than it really is. Wouldn't be the first time.

Thank you in advance!

Sincerely,

wordman

Hello Wordman,

Indeed it's a pretty complex installation however if you're following the installation notes you should be able to install it without issue. Of course, this would only work if you have a dedicated server because as you can see from their tutorial it's required to make changes that require full access to the machine. I would suggest following the tutorial and their documentation and revert back in case you get stuck somewhere  Mr. Green
