Trashed php-nuke... was just to much work not to get hacked. Loaded phpbb2 from cpanel "not fantastico"

 Here is the problem. Cant get avatars to work. Cant get Styles to work.

 Loaded custom Avatars in to the right folder. but from with in the hphbb2 bourd. they are not active

 loaded 2 custom styles but from with in the phpbb2 bourd. they are not active.

 I know! I know the fix to this but ill be dammed if i can recall what it is.

got a clue on the style part... thats working now... but cant get the avatars to work.

what's the problem with your avatars ?

you put some avatars in a folder ?
where ? .images/avatars/.... your folder names....

if so
go to your administration panel and see if in the CONFIGURATION you path for the avatars is correcly setup..
(you migth want to check the max size and dimmensions of the avatars as well... be sure that the avatars is the folder are not bigger than the current settings)

last but not least be sure to CHMOD your avatar directory if you are going to let users upload their own avatars.
(chmod to 755 i believe)

I found a work around.. But its still not working right..

 I i load a avatar in the admin panel i can get it to work. But if i try to set my.or any user avatar in the user's profile? it will not work.. cant even see any avatars,

 And yes the path to gallary is right and yes there are avatars in the galary folder.


 If I real? This is a known problem for some time. Do not know if there is a fix for it

Create a folder called avatars1 and place the images in that folder and that should work
