Hi.

I'm just moving to LunarPages and I'm transferring my phpBB, that I've been running for a year and a half on another host.

Now, I was hacked on my previous host, and somebody warned me just in time to make a full backup.  I didn't know I had to exclude any tables so I just made a full backup and now I have a gzipped .sql backup file on my hard drive (it's pretty damn big -- around 45MB gzipped and 220MB uncompressed).  I want to restore the whole thing on my new phpBB which I just installed fresh using Fantastico on my new LP account.  The backup was made on 2.0.6, and now I'm installing in 2.0.11.

My guess is I have to restore this using phpMyAdmin, but I'm not sure how to proceed because of the huge size of the DB and the different board versions.

Any help will be much appreciated!

To import database, you can upload the database to home directory and email support@lunarpages.com with the database name, your cpanel username, and last 4 digits of credit card number. The support team will take care of it  Thumbs Up
