Hi, I'm trying to make my phpBB redirect back into my website after someone logs in. I have all my pages displaying in a floating frame, but after you log-in on the phpBB it opens the message board into a new browser window.

I don't know which phpBB file to alter to make this happen. (I hope that all makes sense)

Thanks in advance for any help!

You don't need to alter any files, you just pass a path to redirect to in your link to the login page, for example:

Code:
http://www.lunarforums.com/forum/login.php?redirect=../chat/irc/irc.cgi

It has to be a path, not an url.

Nibbler, thanks for the reply.

The problem isn't when I click to log-in to the message board, that screen stays within my site. The problem is after you enter the username and password and then click the LOG-IN button. After you click the button, the message board opens in a new browser window and I want it to stay in the floating frame on my site.

Bump.

Anyone know how I can do this? Or know of a forum where I can get the answer?

Is there some help file somewhere that explains what each file in the BBS directory does for the phpBB?

Please help.

Thanks!

PHPBb shouldn't open in a new window when you click login.

Does this happen on the index page and on the login.php page also?

The login.php loads in my floating frame just like I want.

It only happens after entering a username and password and then clicking the log-in button. That makes the phpBB open in new browser window.
