Hi everyone! Here's the situation: we installed WordPress through Softaculous a while back, and have since been updating WordPress using the built-in WordPress updater and not the Softaculous updater.

Now Softaculous seems to think that we're still running the old version of WP that it knows about, even though the actual version is up-to-date. So when I go to the Softaculous section of the control panel, it says we have an update when we really don't.

So here are my questions:

1) Is there any way to get Softaculous to figure out what the live version of WP is (or stop checking)?
2) If not, is there any way to get Softaculous to stop emailing us that we need to update (other than giving it a bogus email address)?

Thanks!

Have you tried using the Synchronize with other Auto Installers option in the top right of Softaculous? That helped me with a Joomla Installation that it didn't recognize. Don't know if it will work with your issue, but its the only suggestion I have at the moment.

Good luck with your coding.
