I have just upgraded my phpbb forum and after logging in to the admin panel I got a message saying:

Quote
The version of PHP on this server will no longer be supported by future versions of phpBB.

followed by the link to the phpbb.com site with full explanation:
http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1958605

So, my question is: what will I do in a couple of months when phpbb will get another update? I asked the support in a ticket a few months ago about upgrades to obsolete software that my site's server runs on... I was told the software is perfectly fine. Well, it isn't "fine" to run obsolete software on servers, as a professional in IT I know very well how security can be easily compromised if you don't keep your apache and php (to mention just the two) up to date.

Will the php on Creation server get an update soon? If not, I'd like to know NOW before my year's contract expires.

Hello,

Please create a ticket if you require PHP 5.2+ and our admins can move your account to a supporting server without any problem.

Hope it helps.
