I like to write poems and articles about philosophy. Security is important for me...dont want my site to be hacked. Which CMS system is best for me? Postnuke? Mambo? or what? I would also like to have a forum.

Yea, but mambo? eew lol. I hate the way it lays out documents. It's quite akward if you have a 3-tier system: Main Topic-subtopic-subtopic article. To have your users navigate through your subtopics is even more a pain Personally, i despise mambo.

I must add though, if you have only a 2-tier doucment system, "Main Topic, Subarticle" then you would be ok with mambo

OK. I think I´ll try Mambo first. Then maybe Postnuke to see if its better to organise many articles/poems.

In the punBB topic, you noted how you dislike it and in this one how you despise mambo, but don't list anything you do like...

I've tried many of the cms's at opensourcecms.com and still haven't found one that I like. :/ I'm creating a cms for myself to use with my own website, but if I make it public...not sure.

The main reason why I'm using my own 'cms' is because it doesn't required a blasted database lol. I'm sure the DB will be huge when i get the forums all working and such and so it's a few less DB queries to worry about... Ryvin
