At the moment I have a section on my site for Places to Go. When I add somewhere new I just create a new page from a template in Kompozer. The pages are like this: http://www.essexmums.org/placesmonkey.html

However, I want to be able to make it so that other people can add the places too and was thinking it would be good if there was a way a page could be created using minimal knowledge of html, so for example, they could just enter in the details into boxes and it would create a new page for them.  Hope that makes sense!

Does anyone know if this is easily doable and if so how?

Writing a simple php script to do this would not be hard. The real issue is the management of the listings to keep the spammers and scammers at bay.

Sorry, I don't think I was clear. I have a few sister sites to my own that are run by other people, and I want it so that they can edit and add to these pages without having to understand the html.

i dont know your experience and not sure if you want just the person that created the page to edit it or anyone to be able to edit any page but would be able to do it thru php..   

i have not checked there might be an open source project out there you could modify.  for instance  if i wanted to do this and i didnt want to start from scratch i would take something like noahs classified(in your fantastico dir)  or even some forum like phpbb forum and modify the php to do what i wanted it to do, it would not be that hard just time consuming to get the format changed around a bit..

there might even be an open source project thats not far off from what your looking for, just change it to fit your needs..
