Is Fantastico no longer supporting version updates for Wordpress?

I see that WP is up to ver. 2.9.1, but Fantasico is showing 2.8.6 as the current version. Just wondering if there was some announcement/news that I missed-out on regarding Fantastico...

Well, Fantastico is often slower with getting the most recent version patched into their system - then you have to wait for Lunarpages to pick up the most recent Fantastico upgrade, so that is often there reason for the delay.

Okie-doke. How about you, Mitch - do you upgrade from within WP, or wait for Fantastico to catch-up?

Not sure what Mitch does but I am running multiple installs of WP on several accounts. I always install manually, then update directing in the WP Admin dashboard.

Yeah, since WordPress's introduction of the self upgrading feature, that is what I have done since then.  The process is just as easy as it is with Fantastico, and keeps getting better with each version.
