Hello All,

                        I am planning to provide web hosting and web development for many small clients (some static pages, and some PHP with mysql, none of them are big in size). this VPS hosting  plan will be suitable for me ?

It should be a good start. Obviously it depends how many "clients" you are talking about. I think Lunarpages can upgrade you to a dedicated plan if the time comes and credit your account any remaining balances from your VPS.

Hi  Phillip Chapman,

               Thanks for your answer. Your answer helps to resolve some my doubts.
Please help me to clear the following doubts.

1. What is the maximum number of clients, I can have in VPS ? (may be 1,00 clients, assume every client needs less than 5 MB, assume none of them uses any MySql, or anything...only few static pages)

2. can I move to dedicated server, from VPS. With all the stuff I have in VPS? I mean, what will be my work when moving from VPS to dedicated ?

3. all the remaining balances will be transfered ? Will there be any extra charges when moving from VPS to dedicated ?

I will be very happy If some responses comes from support team

Hey dmsundaram,

Thanks for your interest in Lunarpages.

1) You can purchase the unlimited domain license for Plesk and have as many clients as you want long as it fits the space for your VPS account.

2) You can upgrade from VPS to dedicated at any time. You will be required to move all your sites yourself.

3) Any amount you have leftover on your VPS account would be pro-rated and applied to your Dedicated plan and you would be charged for the difference.

Is there any FAQ for VPS in LP ?

No more than 10 domains can be created with the Plesk license that comes with VPS server by default. Thus, if all your clients require more than 10 domains it total, you will need to purchase a license for larger number of domains.
