I had signed up for VPS last week with the domain debatingdesign.com.

However, I'm having problems displaying the site in my browser.  It says it cannot find the server.

I can view it with Site Preview in Plesk.  The DNS entries for the domain in Plesk looks fine.  And it's been more than 3 days so it should've propogated by now.

Am I missing something else that needs to be done?

Hello,

It looks like your nameservers could be wrong.  They should be pointing at ns1.debatingdesign.com and ns2.debatingdesign.com instead of the lunarpages.com ones.  Hope that helps!

Name servers are currently pointing to:
NS3.LUNARPAGES.COM
NS4.LUNARPAGES.COM

How can the IP ever get resolved if a domain name has its own name in the nameserver?

Debatingdesign.com is the free domain with the vps package.  I didn't see in the article how to register a private name server when I get the domain from lunarpages.

OK, got my site working.

Since I couldn't figure out a way to register a private name server with debatingdesign, I used another domain that I have on the other hosting company.  I used that as my name server and pointed it to my vps ip.  Then I used that as the nameserver for debatingdesign.  Now I can pull up the site.
