I had this problem for the 2nd time 2 days ago. What I've done was modify the http.conf , upload it , stop server, then start (it started ok), then I modify the http.conf again, and upload it, stop server, then start, this time the named service wont start properly.

It happened maybe in few minutes, since I tried everything I can (I didnt know much about linux  Sad) , finally what I did was to restore the VPS to get everything working properly,sigh~~

Is it a bug of the application, as I also found some other bugs. Or can anyone give me some hint about this? Help

Hi quicksand,

BIND and Apache are not related so BIND could be failing by some another reason. Unfortunately, no logs with failed start events left after VPS restoration, so it would be hard to advise something other than check logs in /var/log, if the issue repeats.
