I'm having frequent performance problems most day's at the same hour, the last year the same problem disappears and returns frequently. I only run a small website but a reasonably big forum,  http://www.stripdatabank.be/stripforum

Probably a memory problem or bad server optimization, we're not server goeroes. In the past support has given some tips but the problem keeps returning, would managed hosting lite-version be of any help to us?

What type of issues are you having with your server?  The Tech Support team would be more than happy to help you if you contact them by email at dedicated@lunarpages.com or by phone at 714.521.8150.

In regards to Managed Hosting, more information can be found here for other Managed Hosting Services: http://www.lpdedicated.com/managed/

What Lunarpages provides with Managed Hosting Lite is a monitoring system that monitors your web server, email, mysql, disk usage, load, and dns services.  If one of these services goes down, Lunarpages admins would work quickly to resolve the issue, or help notify you of such issues.  If you are experiencing issues with load or loss of service, this is a good option to have.
