Would the current offer on Lunarpages which is ~~~ Be ok for a basic forum that is phpbb with a couple of addon modifications that has a memberbase of say 500 but only has about 90 of it's members visit a day but actually has about 40 members on at any one time. ~~~ Love to hear thoughts of other people using VPS for forum websites
With the users/bandwith you mentioned the VPS plan you stated would be way more then enough. You could save yourself some money and start with a shared hosting solution until you really needed the VPS. I ran my site for a few years on a shared plan with few issues and when I needed to move up to VPS the Lunarpages Support team moved everything to the new server for me.
