If I want to upload files on to my VPS server but not via FTP, what's the best way to do it?

I have some library files that I'm told I need to install into /user/share/php

Hello,

In this case you can SCP you files from your local machine to your VPS.
http://manpages.unixforum.co.uk/man-pages/linux/suse-linux-10.1/1/scp-man-page.html
http://winscp.net/eng/index.php (supports the SCP protocol).

Hope this helps!  Very Happy
