i just started yesterday with my VPS, i updated php4 to php5 and updated the mysql api version from 4.1 to 5.0

so now i tried to import my old database (3-4 MB zip.sql) to my new database, but nothing happens. the tables will not be updated.

to test if there is an issue to upload simple databases, i uploaded a small raw database with 10tables and a size of 3kb, the database could be updated, so no issue here.

but why can i not upload my 3-4MB zipped sql database. i allready uploaded 30MB zipped sql databases on an shared package, but here i am not able to upload a 3MB zipped database.

anyone could help me?  i also tried to set the time_out limit to -1 , but hopelesse not update again

Hello tafx,

What method do you use to upload the mysql backup? If it was phpMyAdmin, please try to increase the memory limit for it in /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/domains/databases/phpMyAdmin/libraries/config.default.php to something like 128MB. This should be done as root in SSH session.
