IP is blocked and lunar pages is not open yet
« on: November 10, 2017, 06:36:48 AM »
My IP has been blocked. Most likely because of too many email login attempts from my cell phone. It has happened before.

Lunarpages does not have 24 hour support.

How can I get My ip unblocked other then waiting several hours to try and contact them through the phone?

Is there anything in C Panel that can unblock it?

Thanks

Phone support is during "normal business hours". Email and helpdesk can be used to generate (open) support tickets 24-7. You can email to support@lunarpages.com to open a ticket. If your email is registered (on file) as associated with you and your account, you may not be asked for ownership confirmation. By the way, you should have a second email, not hosted by LP, as a backup access in case your primary email (hosted on LP) is blocked or down.

Thanks, I opened a ticket bu not sure how long that will take to resolve it.

As for a second email, I have one but that does not help me in receiving or reading any email associated with the lunarpages hosted email account.

The intent of a second, non-LP-hosted email registered with Support is to let you open tickets and communicate with Support without using your LP-hosted email account, in case it's inaccessible for some reason (such as in your case). It will streamline the process, as you won't have to prove ownership, as you would coming in on some unknown random email address (perhaps someone else claiming to be you). A lot of account owners use a gmail account, or something with their local ISP.

If you have control panel (cPanel, LPCP, etc.) access, you should be able to read and write emails through that, but presumably your access is still blocked due to the IP address block. In that case, your account email is inaccessible.
